Two New Companies for Weston Scheme

Two more companies have agreed deals to take offices space at St Modwen’s £400m Locking Parklands development in Weston-super-Mare.

Project management firm Quantum Surveying & Project Management has taken ownership of a 1,900 sq ft office unit.

It will be joined by furniture supplier The Mobility Furniture Company which has signed the lease for two office units at 1,900 sq ft and 2,200 sq ft at the business park within the Locking Parklands development.

Ian Guy, senior development manager for St Modwen, said:  “We are pleased to see that demand for office space is growing in the local area.

“The ongoing development of Locking Parklands will continue to provide a choice of offices for a range of business requirements; campus offices and office headquarters to own or pre-let, or smaller offices, with floor space ranging from 1,800 sq ft to 120,000 sq ft are also available.”

James Holdsworth, managing director at the Quantum Survey & Project Management, added: “These new offices are set in an ideal location for us to take advantage of new business opportunities. They will provide us with plenty of space to expand our operations in the future. On the back of the move we are already planning to increase our workforce by recruiting additional staff.”

The agents for Locking are Williams Gunter Hardwick and Bilfinger GVA.
