HAWKIN'S BAZAAR - Cardiff move to bigger unit

 

Hawkin’s Bazaar previously situated in the Queen’s Arcade in Cardiff has moved into at bigger unit in the St. David’s Shopping Centre following another successful year of growth.

Property agents Williams Gunter Hardwick acted on behalf of the toy and gift retailer to take a 1,174 square foot on a 10 year lease at a rent of £92,000 per annum.

The shop is currently the toy retailer’s only permanent presence in South Wales but they have ambitious plans to expand and have taken temporary stores in Swansea and Camarthan this year as well.

Hawkin’s Bazaar’s CEO, Lyle Finlay said; “We have traded with a very loyal customer base in Cardiff for 6 years and wanted to be part of the extended St David’s Shopping Centre where we felt the bulk of our customers were now shopping”.

Stuart Williams, director at Williams Gunter Hardwick, says; “We are always keen to speak to landlords and retailers with empty shops in busy high street and shopping centre locations across the UK to expand the permanent and temporary chain.”

Earlier this year the retailer announced its strategy to find 60 stores temporary and permanent stores for the busy Christmas trading period.
